our Ourika Valley tour begins at 8:30 AM with a hotel or riad pickup in Marrakech. After settling into your private air-conditioned vehicle, you’ll leave the city behind and travel across the fertile Haouz plains before entering the Atlas foothills. Early in the day, you’ll stop at a traditional Berber home, where you’ll be warmly welcomed with mint tea and gain insight into the daily lives of these mountain communities.
Continuing through the valley, you’ll pass traditional villages perched on mountain slopes, pausing at scenic viewpoints for photos. A visit to a women’s cooperative offers the chance to see how Argan oil is made using age-old techniques. Soon after, you’ll arrive at Setti Fatma, a picturesque village at 1,500 meters. Here, with a local guide, you’ll begin a hike leading to the famous waterfalls, each cascade more impressive than the last, offering incredible views across the valley.
After your trek, descend to the riverside where you can unwind and enjoy a hearty Moroccan lunch in one of the local restaurants.
