Day 2: Royal Rabat & the Road to the Blue City
After breakfast, we’ll journey north along the picturesque Atlantic coast to Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital and one of its four Imperial Cities. Here, you’ll discover a city that seamlessly blends historic treasures with modern life. Our guided tour will take you to the iconic Hassan Tower, the elegant Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the charming, whitewashed Kasbah of the Udayas. Following lunch in the capital, our adventure continues into the scenic Rif Mountains towards the enchanting “Blue Pearl” of Chefchaouen. Upon arrival in this famously blue-painted city, we’ll check you into your hotel for a two-night stay, giving you plenty of time to explore its unique charm.
Day 3: A Day of Magic in Chefchaouen, the Blue City

Day 5: Unlocking the Secrets of Fes with a Local Guide
Prepare for a deep dive into culture as you explore Fes, the oldest of the Imperial Cities, with an expert local guide. Our day begins with a visit to the magnificent gates of the Royal Palace and the historic Jewish Quarter (the Mellah). We’ll then drive to a viewpoint for a stunning panoramic look over the sprawling medieval medina. Entering through the iconic Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud), your walking tour will navigate the maze-like alleys of this living UNESCO museum. You’ll visit landmarks like the Medrasa Bouanania, the famous Tanneries, and the Quaraouiyine Mosque and University—the oldest in the world—before returning to your Riad.
Day 6: Journey to the Sahara & Sunset Camel Trek
Today, our adventure shifts dramatically as we travel south towards the Sahara Desert. Our journey takes us through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and into a cedar forest to see the playful Barbary macaque monkeys. After passing through Midelt, the landscape transforms into the incredible Ziz Valley, a lush palm oasis cutting through the arid terrain. By late afternoon, we’ll arrive at the edge of the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes. Here, your unforgettable camel trek begins, taking you into the Sahara to watch a breathtaking sunset before arriving at your luxury desert camp for a magical night under the stars.
Day 7: A Deep Dive into Desert Culture & Landscapes
Waking up to a Sahara sunrise is an experience you’ll never forget. After breakfast, a full day is dedicated to exploring the fascinating Merzouga region. This is your chance to go beyond the dunes and delve into desert culture. Our 4×4 adventure will take us to visit a nomadic family in their traditional tent, where you’ll share a cup of Berber tea and learn about their resilient lifestyle. We’ll continue to Khamlia village to experience powerful Gnaoua music before strolling through a palm grove and visiting the wild lake of Merzouga, a seasonal home to flamingos. Tonight, you’ll relax in your hotel at the edge of the dunes.
Day 8: Fossils, Canyons, and the Dades Valley
After bidding farewell to the Sahara, we travel to the ancient market town of Rissani and then to Erfoud, a town famous for its rich fossil deposits. Our journey continues through vast palm groves to the magnificent Todra Gorges, where a river has carved a spectacular canyon with towering red cliff walls—perfect for a scenic walk. Today we travel the legendary “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.” After a stop in the Rose Valley, we’ll drive to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa.” The day’s highlight is the spectacular Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified UNESCO World Heritage village famous as a filming location for Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After exploring the kasbah, we begin our dramatic ascent into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass at 2,260 meters. We’ll stop for stunning photos and lunch before descending into the vibrant “Red City” of Marrakech.
Day 10: Exploring the Vibrant Heart of Marrakech
After breakfast, your local guide will lead you on a full exploration of Marrakech. Your tour of this iconic Imperial City includes the magnificent Bahia Palace, the historic Saadian Tombs, and a stroll through the largest traditional souk in Morocco—a vibrant maze of spices, textiles, and crafts. Tonight, you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy the fresh sea air.
Day 12: Farewell from Essaouira & Return to Casablanca
On the final day of your grand Morocco tour, enjoy a last coastal breakfast in Essaouira. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a final stroll along the beach or some last-minute souvenir shopping. Afterward, we will begin the scenic drive back to Casablanca along the Atlantic coast, reflecting on your incredible journey. We will ensure a comfortable and timely transfer to Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) for your departure, leaving you with a lifetime of cherished memories.
